I
fell in love with photography as a little girl –
sitting with my grandmother looking through family photo
albums, browsing travel books, and noticing how important
receiving the next crop of photos of the ‘kids’
was to family. My mom and dad were sure to shoot movie
footage of birthdays and Christmas….I caught the
photo bug early.
I am an artist. I love adventure. So capturing the quick-to-pass
precious moments of life is exciting and challenging to
me. I enjoy finding the right creative flair to add to
the moment I’m capturing. Working with families,
hearing what is important to them is important to me.
I enjoy being part of peoples’ special events. Photography
is great fun, it can be used to document and to capture
the true essence of events :: the special looks, that
anticipated dance, great grandma with the new baby. The
fun and the traditional tell the whole story. My style
captures candid and posed (not necessarily stuffy) moments
with the personality and detail of the day.
With every photo shoot I grow more as an artist. It’s
important for me to stay fresh in my photography approach
by keeping my inner artist alive. I love chocolate almond
custard and brats and beer and running. My family is very
important to me and I love taking photos at home or on
the road.
